Good or Bad.

IT'S A GUYS' WORLD! If somebody told me this statement, I would have punched him in the face. I thought that apart from the biological differences there are no dissimilarities between a guy and a girl. If a guy can swear openly, so can a girl. If a guy can buy a pack of cigarettes without being stared from top to bottom, so can a girl. If a guy can hangout out with many girls without people questioning his character, so can a girl. 

But I was mistaken. It doesn't work like this. Believe me or not, there are clear boundaries defined for a girl and guy. Being a girl, I never wanted to believe that. But then hard reality hit me. It's  when a close buddy of mine told me, I love and respect you as you are, but the world doesn't think the same.

 If a girl accompanies her two guy friends too a cigarette thari, she is looked upon. If she swears, she is considered "indecent". She Roams with her guy friends, she is "cheap". Screw modernization.. Even though women are marching shoulder to shoulder to their with their male counterparts, they still have a long way to go. 

And NO we women are not at fault. We cannot change the mindset of the male chauvinists out there. They say, 'You are a girl, you are supposed to be good." GOOD? Excuse me, Sir! What the hell does "good" means? If a girl wears salwaar-kameez, she's good. If she blushes when you swear, she is good. If she coughs when you smoke, she's  good. If she takes your beating when you come home drunk, she's good. If she listens and agrees to your chauvinist opinions and doesn't speak her mind, she's good. And what about you Mr. Male, you are good in every situation. Because it is we women who are judged, not you. You judge as if you people are perfect. You can call a girl BAD if she puts on a short dress at a pub and swears at a thing which irritates her. 

But no matter if you put her in a stand, she doesn't need your approval. No Sir. No matter if you call her cheap, low or characterless. She isn't going to change herself. She won't. So don't try. Don't tell her how to live. She has her own terms of life which you weak men will never be able to handle. She is bad, a bad girl, and she won't become "good" just for your approval. She doesn't need a guy to tell her that she's not good enough. She loves herself. And she doesn't need anyone else to do the same.
