Accommodating Everyone.
"I am not interesting in competing, I hope we all make it" - Erica Cook.
Once in a while you come across a few lines, that leave an impact, that reverberates in your body. Late night yesterday, i was scrolling down my favorite Facebook page when I was forced to think upon the quote, forced to think whether the people follow it, whether this line has meaning for me.
In a world like today, where we start obsessing about the 1st grade since the I standard, where we have become stringent in sharing any information which is beneficial for us or which might not be of any use to us but may prove useful to others. We think that the only way to reach to the top is to prevent others from reaching there, or the only way to speed up is to reduce everybody's pace. We don't trust ourselves with winning, we trust ourselves with making others lose. Our greatest achievement is not in succeeding, but in being the only one to succeed.
What we keep forgetting is that the joy of succeeding is unique and it only increases when we share it. So why do we keep that little vital information only to us, why don't we give something which is already in abundance with us, why are we a miser even when we have it all.
Our only competition is us. The winning platform is huge. So should be our HEART.
Would write again.
