I Once Knew This Guy
I once knew this guy who used to keep the curtains of the room pulled, even when it rained.
I once knew this guy who put his leg and hand on me while sleeping, but didn't let me keep mine. He said mine were too heavy.
He said he loved dark too much.
I once knew this guy who used to put a hand on his mouth every time he laughed.
He said he hadn't laughed much.
I once knew this guy who used to eat a pizza and then do 50 push-ups in the middle of the night. He said he was too hungry first and too guilty later.
I once knew this guy who put his leg and hand on me while sleeping, but didn't let me keep mine. He said mine were too heavy.
I once knew this guy who pulled my cheeks and mocked me all day, but used to get furious when someone else said a word. He said he can but no one else could.
I once knew this guy who told me that I can be with other people, but used to get upset if ignored for 5 minutes.
I once knew this guy who never claimed to love me deeply, but used to do the impossible to make me smile.
He loved me, he never said.
I once knew this who was extraordinary and changed my world.
And I have made you my home, he said.
